What we collect

When you fill out the estimate request form on this website, you send us the details you type into it. That form asks for:

  • Your name and phone number (required, so we can reply)
  • Your email address (optional)
  • Your vehicle’s year, make, and model (optional)
  • Your insurance company (optional)
  • A description of the damage or the work you need

We do not ask for and do not want payment card details, Social Security numbers, driver’s licence numbers, or any other sensitive identifier through this website.

Separately, whenever anyone visits the site, Google Analytics automatically records some basic technical information: the type of device and browser you use, the general area you are in (estimated from your IP address, which Google does not share with us in full), which pages you view, and how you arrived at the site. This is aggregate traffic data used to understand how the site is performing — it is not tied to your name or to a form submission.

How we use it

We use what you send us for one purpose: to respond to your request and, if you go ahead, to carry out the repair. When you submit the form, the details are emailed to our team so someone can get back to you.

We do not sell your information. We do not rent or trade it. We do not share it with advertisers, and we do not use it to send you marketing you did not ask for.

Who else sees it

Two service providers necessarily handle your submission on our behalf: the company that hosts this website, and the email service that delivers your request to us. They process it only to provide those services.

If you are filing an insurance claim, we will communicate with your insurance carrier about your repair — that is the purpose of asking which carrier you are with.

Cookies and tracking

This website uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site — for example, which pages are viewed and how people arrive here. It sets first-party cookies to count visits and does not identify you by name. We do not run advertising pixels, we do not sell your information, and we do not build an advertising profile of you.

Booking an appointment sends you to our scheduling partner’s website, which has its own privacy policy covering anything you do there.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call 410-357-3025 or email info@tcchereford.com and we will take care of it. Note that we may need to keep records relating to repair work we actually performed.

How we keep it safe

We keep the details you send only for as long as we need them to handle your request and any repair that follows, and we limit access to the people who need it to help you. We rely on established service providers to host this site and deliver your messages. No website or email system is ever completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security — but we treat what you send as the real personal information it is.

Changes to this policy

If the way we handle information changes — for example, if we add or remove a tool like the analytics described above — we will update this page and change the “Last updated” date at the top. Significant changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
